Per request from one of my readers, I will discuss some benefits of probiotics on menstrual issues that many women face. Some evidence suggests that probiotics may help address certain menstrual issues, particularly those related to digestive health. For example, research suggests that probiotics may help alleviate symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). This common condition can cause abdominal pain, bloating, and constipation or diarrhea, which may be exacerbated during the menstrual cycle. Additionally, some studies have found that probiotics may help alleviate symptoms of yeast infections, which can be more common during the menstrual cycle.
